I am so into blogging that I forgot how to even log into my account to make a post. It took me about 20 minutes to remember how to sign in, what my blog name was, and remember what email and password I used for the Blogger site. Serious blogger, yep that's me!
Really though, I feel like there was a lot I could have talked about and a lot of pictures that I could have posted and didn't. And that is a bummer. So I will just make this post all about the months that passed in between now and my last post. Grand idea, I know.
To start off, at the beginning of this summer I met a girl named Sarah Reale. She is pretty cool, and we kicked it all summer long. She is probably the main reason why my summer was so damn awesome. In other words, this girl doesn't suck.
This picture is of me and Sarah on a rooftop in Seattle WA. One of the many places we went this summer. I met a bunch of great new peeps in Seattle and can't wait to go back soon.
I attended a decent amount of concerts this summer, and saw Brandi Carlile for the very first time. Was my mind blown? Over and over. I went to Brandi Carlile twice, 311, John Mayer, Imogen Heap, James Taylor and Carol King!
I feel like I really got into mnt biking this summer and turns out, I love it. Its tough but a great workout and sometimes can become a little sketchy. But I would say mnt biking has become one of my favorite things to do. I did the Crest trail with some friends early this summer and it was amazing! I live in the most beautiful state. Utah is bomb.
In July I ran a half marathon. I also could not walk the next 4 days. That is where training for the run would have come in handy. But I ran the whole thing so I won't complain. This picture is with me and my sister Sage, my mom and our family friend Lora Duncan. Lora and I ran the whole race together. She kept me going and I owe my thanks to her for finishing.
I left the country for the first time in my life this summer. I hopped on a plane and landed in Italy. Italy is amazing and I know I have to go back someday. It really is fantastico! And of course I took hundreds of pictures.
I was really smart and waited until I was 22 to have my wisdom teeth removed. I am so glad you only need that surgery once. I felt like it took me weeks to recover! And I learned that Lortab is a horrible pain medication. Seriously, why do they even prescribe it to people?
One beautiful day in late summer 2010, my friend Willy and I and his two roomies went out on an adventure up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Sometimes you just need to go outside and play like a kid. It's good for the soul.
I met Katie Herzig. That was cool.
I hiked to the top of Mt. Olympus with my good friend Jules. We climbed, we conquered.
I bottled fruit for the first time with my mom and grandma. So fun and great memories were made.
Went home and had my eyes checked, ended up having to get glasses. One I put these bad boys on my first thought was, "wow people can actually see this clear? Who knew!?"
I got lost in some corn with the fam. Decided that corn mazes really aren't that awesome. But at least I spent the day with some awesome peeps.
And that's that folks. A quick recap of my summer 2010. It came and now its gone just like that but this summer will be one I will never forget. Now bring on that white goodness! I'm ready to play in some POW!
